TSGL: Help with Blackboard?

I think she should try these other suggestions first, then see what happens. 
  95% of the problems we see are related to bad java plugin configurations 
and/or spyware redirect problems.  MS defender seems to be the best at 
dealing with these.

I doubt it's an IE settings problem as she can get all the way to updating 
her syllabus.
