Good point, Russ. We use a number of DECT-telephones from one base unit and 
they interfere with a satellite transponder at 12480MHz, ruining the 
reception of 4 or 5 TV stations. The DECT frequency is some 1800MHz and 
these stations come in at around that after the LNB.

Fortunately, here we can get the Austrian and Swiss transmissions of the 
same stations at different frequencies, but that's another story...

There is a major problem with the cheaper "Sender" - "Receivers". They
operate on 2.4 GHz and interfere with PC Wireless Networks (and other 2.4
GHz transceivers such as some wireless telephones).

Of course, as long as you're watching Television, you could shut down your
wireless network ... you may want to do this if the internet interferes with
the television transmission. But then again, you might just get lucky ...
