TSGL: Hard disk access

Last year I had a problem with an ill system that had been set up with 
cable select (XP Pro OS)
not recognizing one of the HDs,
but when I changed it to normal Master/Slave with the jumpers,
the drive magically appeared.  Different strokes, but it wouldn't hurt 
to try. 
Depending on how the MB IDE cable sockets are used, you might have to 
forego one HD of the three
HDs if there also more than one IDE CDR or DVD, whatever, but you could 
easily get the 3rd back
via a USB2 external enclosure..
