TSGL: Hard disk access

One thing to remember is, if you use "cable select" on the drive you MUST
use a "cable select" cable, a regular IDE cable in "usually" not compatible
with the cable select jumper configuration. "cable select" cables have drive
designations printed on the connectors (main board, primary or master, and
secondary or slave).

Last year I had a problem with an ill system that had been set up with cable
select (XP Pro OS) not recognizing one of the HDs, but when I changed it to
normal Master/Slave with the jumpers, the drive magically appeared.
Different strokes, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
Depending on how the MB IDE cable sockets are used, you might have to forego
one HD of the three HDs if there also more than one IDE CDR or DVD,
whatever, but you could easily get the 3rd back via a USB2 external
enclosure..
Good luck
