TSGL: Thunderbird questions

Hi Bob,
That red-dot box thing irritates me too! I wish Thunderbird had a simple
option to prevent
those placeholders in the compose window. I want to see what's being
sent, so.....
I use Forward as little as possible because one doesn't see everything
in the Compose
window that will be viewed by the recipient.

I'd suggest instead using Reply, which will display the entire message
including any previous
headers that have previously been sent to you. Be sure to change the TO
address to the intended recipient.

Delete all visible headers in the message body, and especially do not
fail to delete any list of email addresses that may
appear because someone previously in the thread inadvisedly used
multiple "TO's" or "CC's" vs. BCC.

Lastly, page down & delete multiple signature or antivirus blessings
(leave one if you like, and
your AV isn't configured to add one — it makes folks feel more secure
about the content.

Using Reply vs. Forward is a little extra effort, but I think it's worth it.
