RealPlayer has always had a troublesome reputation. First, try reinstalling
it. Second, see if drag n drop will work with it (open RealPlayer, then
drag the song into its open window---that might enable it to locate the
file. Many progs will work better that way.)
3 things come to mind.
1. Have these songs all come from the same original source? If so, they
may have been incorrectly coded to appear as .ra files (or whatever
Reaplayer uses these days---I don't use it) when they are actually
something else. Try changing the file association by renaming one, say to
.mp3 or .midi or .wav and see what happens when you double-click it.
2. Maybe they are recorded in an obsolete RealPlayer code which your Player
no longer recognises---or vice-versa. (Do you have the latest version of
RealPlayer?)
3. Try playing them in Winamp, which seems to handle most music codes, or
Windows MediaPlayer10, which is much improved over its older versions
(though still lacks many basic functions). Or even Irfanview, with suitable
.ra plugins.
