TSGL: Internet Explorer 7?

Security in IE7 is much improved, now on a par with Firefox.
One feature I really like in IE7 is how easy it is to have multiple home
pages. Firefox also has this feature available, but it is not nearly as easy
to set up as in IE7. Unfortunately, Opera does not have this feature, so
simply on the basis of this one feature alone, I find Firefox and IE7
superior to Opera.
The Windows Operating System requires Internet Explorer to be installed (I
know some of you may have hacked the OS to try to get rid of IE, but what
you have really done has crippled your system, and I'd be willing to bet
that something of IE is still on your machine). So, since IE is now on your
machine, and the earlier forms of IE have severe security problems, I
believe you should install IE7 whether you intend to use it or not, simply
to get rid of those problems.
Yes, there are reports that some people have had problems with IE7, but
those reports are rare. Based on the huge number of IE7 installations, and
the fact that problems have been found with less than 1/2 of 1% of those
installations, I believe you will be safe in making the change.

Is it a good update? I've been happy with what I have, (6.0) but the update
option came up, recommended by Microsoft. So many times these new ones
cause problems. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Thanks.
