Finally, I can now use IE 7 without freezing after speaking to Crystal from
the Internet Explorer Beta team today.
Since I was freezing and had crashed twice, immediately receiving Microsoft
Online Crash Analysis' for both, using either IE 6 or IE 7, I was told to
uninstall IE 7 to be able to Optimize IE 6 first, reinstall IE 7 and Optimize it.
She said that they were receiving a lot of problems with people crashing,
freezing, having problems with Outlook Express along with a multitude of other
glitches.
I asked her if she would include in her email to me the steps to optimize
either IE 6 or IE 7 so I could pass the information to TSGL.
She said that following the steps that she send should fix almost any
problems you are having with either one. If this doesn't work for your particular
problem, Dell gave me a toll free number with no charge for the support,
1-866-234-6020
Olivia, if you follow the instruction that I've copied from Crystal's email
to this email, it should solve your problems, too.
Hope the following information helps everyone.
