TSGL: Spam Filter Recomendations

I'm not blaming the spam filter for the problem. It's just that the one I
have is becoming less affective (for the reasons you have mentioned and
possibly others as well) and it's time for a change. This is as good a
place as any to solicit advice as I got the recommendation for K9 here about
4 or 5 years ago in this very group.

As for Can-Spam, I'd like to meet the genius (said sarcastically) who came
up with the idea that a law would stop spam. It won't. The people who do
spam are sneaky enough to find ways around the technical issues that would
give them up. Yes, plenty of people have been caught and prosecuted under
Can-Spam but I don't think any of us have seen a measurable affect on the
spam that hits our inboxes.
