TSGL: Administration rights problem.

Hey everyone,

XP Pro, i have my own profile setup called Owner, with Administrator's
rights.

For some reason whenever i launch iTunes, i get the message asking if i
would like to set iTunes to main music playing program and i'll click yes,
but every time i get the error message of "You don't have admin rights to
make this kinda of computer adjustment".

So i wanted to try installing something else, so i had a set of disks from a
long time ago of AutoDESK Inventor, i went to install the 30 day trial
version and i got the error message saying i didn't have enough admin rights
to change registry files.

I then rebooted in safe mode, logged on as Admin, made sure Owner(my
account) still had Administrator rights, it said it did and i attempted many
other things.

Yet still somethings wrong.

Any clues as to whats wrong? I've been thinking over the last day if i
should just start fresh again with xp pro becuase i have many other
problems. But in the mean time, or untill i can find my os disks i'm looking
for a fix.
