Not on mine, which is standard as far as I know.  You just drag and drop, 
coupla clicks on the popup auto wizard, click the Burn button, and away it 
goes. I haven't yet had any failures.  Vanilla flavour only, though.

Perhaps you have to have the CD-burn Service enabled on manual or 
auto.  Dunno what the default state is. Mine's on manual.
