Chuck,
Windows Media Player does not show up in the "add/delete" list unless you
place a checkmark in "Show Updates" (at the top and on the left side of the
"add/delete" list).

I am trying to find myself. If you see me before I do, please ask me to wait
until I return.

Subject: TSGL: Media Player ain't workin' and won't leave
I updated some time ago to windows media player 11.
tried it today, the music does not play correctly.
tried to delete thru add/delete programs
MP said it would not delete; would revert to MP10 instead.
Ok, I figured, I'll do that, then delete...........????????????
so I had it revert to MP10 -- and a forced reboot --
MP10 runs just as badly.
so I look in add/delete programs; no media player listed.
I look at the icon in Programs to see if MP10 has an uninstall
option.........nope.
So..........how do I get rid of the darn thing? I hate to just delete
the folder on my harddrive and leave junk in the Registry.
Running winXP sp2.
