Don, I use Nero as well. (NeroVision Express 3 but
Nerovision 2 should be about the same)

Here's the procedure I use:

Add files -->Next
Create Menu-->Next
Preview-->Next

Burn Options Page:
Recording Setting - Automatic, Use Burn at Once,
Burn to DVD
Speed - Try using the lowest write speed in the drop
down list

Details: (this is a sample listing with one video, Your
listing should have all your individual titles listed)

Book Type setting: 'Automatic'

Sample format: Automatic
Audio format: LPCM
Encoding mode: High Quality (2-Pass VBR)

Number of titles: 1
1. Christmas 2006 (Video Title, 0h 02m 57s)
Video mode: NTSC
Aspect ratio: 4:3
Quality: Standard play (5073 kbps)
Resolution: 720 x 480 (CCIR-601 D1)

Number of menus: 1
- Menu for Christmas 2006 (1 page)

-->Burn

Nero should then automatically convert your files and
create the correct DVD structure on the DVD

Possible solutions:

Lowering the write speed might help because it can
write a stronger signal to the DVD
Make sure you have burn at once selected.
Are you using a DVD format that your DVD player can
handle. I once had a DVD player that wouldn't read
DVD-R. And some can't read DVD RW formats.
