Jon,
Instead of burning with Nero, try burning with Imgburn. It's a great little
freeware that's easy to use and works quickly. It is now in version 2.1.0.0
and you can get it at ...

Regarding booting to windows: I recently burned an ISO-file of UBCD to CD
using Nero. I thought doing so would automatically extract the contents. I
tried to boot with the CD and crashed my PC completely, receiving the
message, "unmountable boot volume". Couldn't access Recovery Console on the
HD, no safe mode, nothing.
I restored an image.
It turned out that the CD simply contained a copy of the ISO-file. I later
burned it with another programme which did extract it and all was OK.
But why would the iso-file crash the PC?
