TSGL: switch to AVAST ??

Chuck,

I can only respond regarding my experience with the Avast product. I've
been using it for about 9 months and have it installed on my 2 personal
systems and approximately 30 others that I work on. I have had no
indication of any intrusions since I installed it, and none of the 30 or
systems that I have installed it on have reported any issues. It finds
viruses...reports them and deals with them.

It's interface with Outlook seems very seamless and effective. It also
monitors web based mail. I don't know about it's compatibility with other
email programs.

I'm very impressed with the product and will continue to use it until
something happens to give me a reason not to.

Subject: TSGL: switch to AVAST ??

I've been using AVG for a long time.
Now I've been notified that the free service will become pay-only.

what is current thinking? pay for AVG?
switch to AVAST or some other free service?
