Well now, aren't you a sweetheart for sending me such a nice email, thank
you very much. I actually took your advise to heart but not quite to the
letter. I'm not a great lover of wine, so my husband went out and bought me 2 4
packs of mudslides and I did have 2, yummy<G>
I hope you enjoyed your couple fingers of single malt. It reminded me of
our monthly vacations to England, Scotland & Wales and our separate monthly
vacations in Ireland, which we switched between the years and the locals looked
for us every other year.
If there was a pub in any of the countries that we didn't visit, I sure
don't know where it would be.
Someone is sure to tell us the we're off topic, there's always at least one,
eh?
Again, thank you
OK, gang including the BCC, I'm sending this Thursday 9 November 1:05 PM EST

TONI...I totally agree with your advice so please take your own.
Go have a glass of wine and forget about it for awhile.
I, myself, am off to have a couple fingers of single malt.
Catch up with you tomorrow, okay? ;-)

Cheers!!!

Hi John:
Thanks for taking the time to let me know when my email arrived, it was a
nice surprise that you'd emailed and let me know. You weren't the only one
to
let me know when they received my email, which was a total surprise and I
love surprises, as long as they're good ones
I sent an email to the List Yesterday dated 11/7/2006 3:41:26 P.M.
Eastern
Standard Time and I haven't seen it yet. I sent an UPDATE to that email
today 11/8/2006 11:59:10 A.M. Eastern Standard Time of course, I haven't
seen
it yet but I sent it separately to you and some others.
What's even stranger was that I received my original email yesterday
11/6/2006 9:15:12 P.M. Eastern Standard Time that I had originally sent
  dated
10/25/06 10:50 PM Eastern Daylight Time were that "girl" was for 12 days
is
anyone ones guess, I just hope "my girl" was acting like a lady and not a
sleaze bag
I'll send this thru the List and to you & others personally so we'll see
which email wins the race reaching you & them. I'm even sending it to
myself to
see how fast I get it.
I not sure who the owner of the list is but I was just wondering if he was
aware of all the problems that we're having on the list with such poor
control
over the email timing and the several new variants of the Stration virus
that was swaping the servers at TSGL in an email from Raymond 11/3/2006
10:36:39
P.M. Eastern Standard Time, rsbowen3 at cox.
An email from hdavis dated 11/5/2006 7:16:28 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
was
sent thru the list directly to Raymond asking "Could this be responsible
for
the delayed messages we've been seeing???" and I haven't seen Raymond's
response come thru the list yet.
There has to be some explanation to what is wrong with the Lists mail
timing
and how the TSGL's servers were swamped with several new variants of the
Stration virus but nobody has stepped up to the plate to even offer us an
idea,
how strange is that, I don't know but and explanation to the entire List
would help, don't you think?
I sent Raymond an email off list 11/4/2006 12:26:58 A.M. Eastern Standard
Time stating "Thanks so very much to you too...HOW DID TSGL GET IT?"
I have never received a response from him either, just like H Davis, go
figure!!
I guess we'll beat that dead horse over and over until someone explains
something to us.
Well, it's Wednesday 8 Nov 06 and I'm sending this at 5:24 PM EST from the
US.

Subject: Re: TSGL: how to open small generic icons/INTERNET 7

Hi Russ:
I followed your advise and upgraded to IE 7. When I click on start, I have
two Internet Explorers, both of which are AOL. AOL is the default on one
of
them which is OK. I don't want AOL on both of them, but don't know how
to
change one of them to anything else but AOL. I also don't want to change
them to any of the ones that you listed in your email. I use Verizon DSL
to
connect to the Internet and Verizon & Yahoo are now together so I don't
want them.
I was wondering about using Google unless you had a better one in mind, I
honestly don't know what to do or just leave it alone.
Can anyone help me to get AOL off the one Internet Explorer? I know I'm
probably not explaining myself very well but I'm trying Remember you
have to explain it to me step by step
There's nowhere else for me to turn to anymore but the List.
I joined the list to get help when I need it and to try to learn from
others experiences.
Belonging to the List has been a great learning tool for me with a lot of
people going out of their way to help me, personally, along with a lot of
other people on the list. Everyone tries their best to help us out no
matter what
our problem seems to be and they go out of their way to make sure they
have
helped us solve our problems, which I truly appreciate and sorely need.
I'm far from being a computer know it all, an IT whatever, a certified
whatever, I'm just a computer user who's trying to learn. A lot of what is
discussed is so far over my head that it really proves I'm DUH but you
can't knock me for trying.
A lot of us have been complaining about how badly the List is sending out
email and we're receiving email so confusingly by getting half an answer,
seeing the original question or questions or not seeing all of it at all.
This has been going on for over a month and nothing has been done about it
and
now "several new variants of the Stration virus that are really swamping
the
servers at TSGL". Are we having fun yet? I don't think so but we use to

have a lot of fun.
I don't know what's going on with the TSGL servers, I don't even know what
a server is and don't care, hey, it's not my job to know. I thought the
keeper of the Servers had our best interest first in line and that we
were
being taken care of [I even posted an email stating I had all the
confidence in
the world with "The Keeper of the Servers] but now I feel like I've been
stripped naked, thrown out in the snow with the wolves. I guess maybe
priorities are somewhere other than running the list properly, I don't
know what's
wrong.
I'm just hoping someone will try to help me and the email doesn't come in
helter skelter.
OK, I'm sending this Sunday afternoon from the US and it's about 3:57 EST
I hope the Server is working, I guess we'll find out, eh?

Whether you usee it or not, I still recommend upgrading to IE 7 because
Windows and IE are integrated very closely. In Windows, you use IE when
you
don't know you're using IE. When you open up My Computer, IE is actually
being used ... and that's just one example.

IE 7 adds many security items that you should have, and it's installation
will make your computer more secure. Every user of Windows XP should
upgrade
to IE 7. They can use Firefox, Opera, Avant, Orca, Torpark (an interesting
version of Firefox) or even the "Green" Browser and never open IE, but
they
should have IE 7 for security.

I am trying to find myself. If you see me before I do, please ask me to
wait
until I return.

I got half to three-quarter satisfaction with IE6, but I hate to use it.
It
crashes too many times. I'll upgrade to FF2 and check ut out. Thanks.
