Mike--I've been running AVG Free 7.1 for a long time, upgraded yesterday
to AVG Free 7.5 without any problems, altho when the SETUP page came up
during the install, I selected the top of the three options (I think it
said something like "Install selected components") instead of the
"Repair" option. Everything updated fine and AVG Free 7.5 is working
fine. I don't know what caused your problem but when I run into a
problem like you are having, I would UNINSTALL both AVG Free 7.1 and 7.5
and then do a full download and install of 7.5 again.
