That's correct, I upgraded both my desktop and laptop from 7.1 to 7.5
AVG Free and selected the Add or Remove Components option. I checked
all boxes under this option and the installation updated and works
fine. The main reason I selected thte Add or Remove Components option
is that the last time I did an AVG upgrade, I selected the Repair option
and it updated OK except I lost the ability to scan both incoming and
outgoing email. When I uninstalled the upgrade and reinstalled it, I
selected the Add option and it upgraded fine and retained the scan email
capability.

My son and daughter just upgraded their desktops to AVG Free 7.5 also
and selected the same option I did and the upgrade installed and works
fine for them also, however AVG does recommend selecting the Repair
option and I would suggest that people do that unless they encounter
problems such as I did.
