Well, there are several possibilities here, but it seems to me that trying
to diagnose the problem with your grandmother may be more difficult than
trying to get around the problem.
I assume that your grandmother is not in a place easily accessible to you.
If she were, I'd download the file and take a copy over to her using a flash
drive or by burning it to a cd (it's 17.6 MB in size).
But assuming she is not close, you can upload the file to someplace like
"Dropload" http://www.dropload.com and have her download it from there.
Dropload is free, but requires both parties to "register" with them. This
will probably mean that both she and you will get some emails in the future
from them or their "partners". I'm not certain of this as I've not tried
them. And there are other similar websites where you can upload and she can
download, too.
Perhaps some of the other guys and gals are familiar with sites like this
one and can recommend one or two.

I am trying to find myself. If you see me before I do, please ask me to wait
until I return.

Subject: TSGL: AVG 7.5 won't download
Say guys would you mind helping me help my 80 year old aunt? She was using
the old version of AVG and got the notice that she should upgrade to 7.5.
She tells me that she been trying to download the 7.5 *free* AVG upgrade,
but 1/2 way through the download she gets a message on her screen that some
files were corrupted and to get a fresh copy and retry. What do you suppose
is the problem? Is there anything she can do to remedy the problem. I
haven't a clue. I don't even know what questions I should ask her! Any
input is appreciated.
