Is there a simple way to backup or copy Services?

From time to time, I've noticed that something (maybe System Restore?)
will re-order Services so that those I normally have disabled have sprung
back into life again.

Is there a way in which with one-click I could restore my own Services
settings---(something like a registry backup to a .reg file). It would be
nice to have a permanent copy.

Are the Services settings kept in the registry?---in which case a simple
registry restore would do it, if I could find the location(s) and just
backup that section of the registry. But I have a feeling that the Services
settings are not be located in the registry.

Does anyone know where these settings are kept?
