Ron,

not sure whether I really understand your problem:

Then how did Nero recognize these media before? My version 6.0 has an
option to analyze a CD/DVD and if I recall this correctly just says
"empty". What happens with your version when you insert a new disc?

InCD will only write to the media after formatting - so, I guess, you
formatted it ? Not sure about the 0 byte message - do you see it before
or after formatting?

Maybe others more knowledgeable than I will offer better advice. Anyway,
there can be problems with InCD depending on the software configuration
& possible conflicts with other software (XPs own InCD burning
software!)
