I am currently using Office 2007 Beta 2 (Technical Refresh), the last before
release, I think. The CELL function is still there, but it didn't seem to
like "FORMULA" or "GET", but I don't have time this morning to play with
them before I have to head out.

Subject: TSGL: Macro code in new version of Office

Does anyone know if the new version of MS Office, which is scheduled for
Windows Vista, will support the old macro language in Excel?
I think it was first introduced with Excel 4.0 and I have ever since
written numerous application using this macro code. Convering the code
to visual basic would be too much work.
Up to now, the old macro code is still supported in Excel but I'm not
sure what the future will bring.

With the "old Excel macro code" I mean code like the below

=FOR("Counter";1;GET.CELL(53;OnePagerT!R19C5))
=SELECT(; "R[1]C[1]")
=FORMULA(GET.CELL(53;ACTIVE.CELL());"R19C4")
=WORKBOOK.SELECT("Purchase")
=FORMULA.FIND(GET.CELL(53;OnePagerT!R19C4))

Regards / Bo
