I'm not anywhere near as technically qualified on IT stuff as many of
you on this forum but I can tell you that I have used System Restore on
quite a number of occasions where I had done something that screwed up
my pc and it has worked to resolve the problem and get me back to normal
again just about every time. I've no doubt that there are many
situations where System Restore will not solve the problem but for me
anyway it's been a good starting point.
