TSGL: Reading Pane Off in Outlook 2003

I search Google first, but could not find what I was looking for.

Outlook 2003 got a feature called Reading Pane, which means that you can
preview a message without opening it. The feature is turned on by
default, and the Reading Pane is there for every sub directory you
create. In my company, most mail is sent encrypted and we have a special
sw to read the message. When I need to read a mail I first need to
provide username and password for the encrypted sw. It's a bit annoying
though.

What is even more annoying is that it is required also because of the
Reading Pane. So when I simply navigate my folders, I need to provide
username/password again and again.

I van switch of the Reading Pane for a directory, but after a while the
number of sub directories are growing very fast. Is there a way to
switch of the Reading Pane for all directories at once? Alternatively,
can I disable the Reading Pane feature?

Regards / Bo
