Unfortunately that site only appears to have the relatively small (about
480 Kb) IESetup file, which I already have. To install from that file, you
have to have an internet connection, as the installation has to obtain the
full set of files from the Ms site.
As far as I can see, there doesn't seem to be a full version of IE setup
which will install the browser without a connection. And without that, he
can't install his modem.
There's possibly one ray of light. I've burnt SP4 for W2K to a CD, and
hopefully that might install IE6. Does anyone know?
