TSGL: Compaq wont boot

That is correct,
The files were converted to FAT, and most of the files were at the least 
renamed "recovered file fragments" and maybe destroyed in the process, (at 
least to Win XP with NTFS,) and the extension changed to .chk.

Certainly a blunder on my part!
