I tried that twice still no update so I uninstalled it and changed to Avast. I did not want the hassle. Thanks.

I had an issue a few months ago where AVG got "stuck" this way after a reinstall of Windows XP. That was the way I got it back in action.

Subject: TSGL: No updates from AVG
For a week now I have had no updates from AVG and my icon no longer has any colour. I have the latest free home addition; I get the message no updates available. This seems to have happened for no reason at all. If anyone can enlighten me on what has gone wrong I would appreciate it.
I have WinXP Prof.
