Holy Cow, Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That did it. FF is displaying the pop-ups again with a solid background!!!
I set FF back to default with the instructions you sent and it went very
smoothly.
You are amazing!
Thanks ever so much!

wow Cyndi, what an odd situation. may I suggest that you reset Firefox back
to default settings?
here is a guide
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Resetting_preferences
try following the instructions under the heading....
Resetting all preferences to program defaultsOh and backup your
favorites/bookmarks in Firefox first. lol
It looks like a bit of effort but it may be some quirky little check box in
the settings that is causing your problem.
Good Luck Cyndi,
Justin
