TSGL: Foxfire Flickers

My old PC died so have been setting up a new one from scratch.  Installed Foxfire and all was well until I deleted the Foxfire "getting started" button and another one, which I can't remember, next to it at the top left side of the page.  I right clicked on each one, one at a time and deleted them.  The bar is still there completely across the page.  I was trying to eliminate it along with the two buttons.  Now the page flickers.  Well, not that it actually flickers on and off, but that it jiggles by moving up and down rapidly for just a fraction of an inch.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Foxfire, but that didn't eliminate the problem.  I have no idea how to fix it.  Any help is appreciated.
