If the "LauncherOP.exe" doesn't work from its original folder, then of
course a desktop shortcut to it won't help either. It may only be a
shortcut itself, perhaps pointing in the wrong direction.
You'll need to open the OP folder and determine which is the actual.exe
file which opens the program. That's the path you need to type into your
desktop shortcut.
But usually the easiest way is to just right click the proper .exe file,
hover on the SendTo line, and select Desktop as shortcut.
Are you saying that the right click menu has no SendTo items in its line
extension?
Are you using the right button to drag and drop the icon to your
desktop? Never use the left button, because that only moves or copies in
most cases---which is often NOT the action you want. And, if it's a
protected file, sometimes nothing will happen. With right dragging, you
always get a choice of actions.
