TSGL: Is IE7 a RAM gobbler?

See thats odd, for me i just opened ie let it sit for 2 minutes on
www.yahoo.com only that one tab open and it's sitting at 45,880k and using
35-45% cpu use. I open another tab(about:Blank) and i get..52,536k and45-60%
usage. And i just tried adding another 3 tabs and everytime it added about
another 500k per tab and about another 2% usage per tab.
So i just stick with handy firefox, which is sitting at 5,756k with 6 tabs
open.
