TSGL: Toshiba Satellite CD Boot Problem

Russ, I think you have a dud CD drive,
It is common with Toshiba laptops.
Toshiba laptops wont boot from 3rd party external devices so you will
probably need to replace the drive.
Try and get an aftermarket drive because official Toshiba products are way
too expensive.
