Hi Heidi,
Thanks for the ideas - basically, the path is the same in Engl. as in
German. In my system, however, there is no sign whatsoever of Internet
Explorer under Accessories or System Tools.
Oh well...
Hier im Odenwald ist es 5°C und regnerisch - bis jetzt!
Viele Grüße

Hi John,
I will find IE without add-ons when I follow Start - All Programs - Tools -
System Programs or whatever the correct words may be in English - you know I
have a German system and have collected a lot of English words from all the
programs but not yet these. So am just guessing... since you will probably
understand the German words as well, it is: Start - Alle Programme -
Zubehör - Systemprogramme. So not System Tools in the first, maybe that is
what was called Accessories before but then System Tools given as next step
might not be System programs??? So I hope I can give you a helpful idea
after all!
best wishes from snowy Berlin
Heidi
