Yes, you can use Ghost to create an image file. Replace you "C"
drive and use Ghost to image the new "C" drive from that file.
Having said that, if you have room in your computer why not put the
new HD in with the other two and image directly to it. Swap the old
"C" with the new one and use the old "C" drive as a back up drive
by imaging to it with an image file. Just make your image once a
week and you will have be able to recreate a "C" drive that is one
week or less old. Ghost has the capacity to compress the image file
so size will not be a problem.
Another benefit is you can always just recover a particular file if
one on the "C" drive becomes corrupted or lost.
