TSGL: Fw: Convert FAT32 to NTFS

Dieter,
I am over 70, and I am not a professional computer man. But I have learnt
all these as a hobby.
If it is an external drive, I suggest you leave it with FAT32. You can then
connect with another computer which may not have WinXP or Win2000. Win98
will not read NTFS. NTFS has better security and better disk utilization,
that is all. FAT 32 is quite all right otherwise.
If you still want to convert to NTFS, go ahead. MFT will be fragmented which
will slow down disk access. But so what?
Best wishes
Hasanat
