TSGL: Moving email from one comptuer to another

Will,
the only thing you really have to worry about regardless of what state the
destinatinon's computer is in, in regards to outlook express, is that
outlook express should be closed when putting the DBX files into the
destination folder. copy ALL of the DBX files from the source (ie the old
computer) to the new laptop. dont' worry about overwriting files, just click
yes to all.

AND with new content after downloading emails, the procedure is a bit more
tedious. You certainly wouldn't like to loose any of the old or new emails.
What you then do is renaming those newly created folders while your new OE
is running, for instance "Office email" into "Office email new" or similar.

I think tilman means if the person has already started receiving emails on
his/her new computer before the old email files are transferred.
