Okay Russ, tell me where you can actually move those buttons to, without
moving the whole IE7 window as one moveable unit?
That right-click context menu Move option you get from those buttons is
only enabled when the IE7 window is resized (less than maximised). When
IE7 window is maximised that Move option is disabled, i.e. greyed out.
The top six items in that menu are solely to manipulate the whole
window. When Move is chosen the mouse pointer becomes a four-headed
arrow in the middle of the top title bar. Then, with left mouse button
down the whole window can be dragged about. Probably dragging it
completely off the screen altogether might be the best way to go - only
joking :-)

Without the use of a third-party add-on, John Od/G wants to move those
Refresh/Go & Stop buttons to the left end of the address box but after
the Back & Forward buttons.
As yet we haven't found a way to break into any part of that toolbar(?)
row that holds the address and search boxes plus its buttons.

IE of any flavour has never been my cup of tea, and less so with this
new absurdity.
Me saying that is not to be seen as a reflection on those good folk who
like to use IE. I'll always have a second and third independent
browsers separate to IE/Maxthon. If you have IE fall over in a way that
prohibits its Internet accessibility Maxthon is down for the count as
well. I witnessed exactly this last week on a friend's PC that had a
trojan (he didn't know about at the time) and he had no way to download
and install malware scanners etc. Mind you, he had no excuse for not
having such tools already installed and up to date!!

The closest thing to the full fledged IE that I'd use would be Maxthon.
Seems to me that Maxthon takes over in all respects where IE development
left off regarding being user friendly and configurable when comparing
both products as the come out of the box.

Cheers for now and thanks for bearing with this amount of waffle - once
again!!
