TSGL: combine bookmarks and favorites

two problems with that:
first, if I import say 100 Favorites to my Bookmarks list
I now have 200 items in my Bookmarks.
If I then import the 200 Bookmarks to my Favorites list
do I end up with 300, including 100 duplicates?
I don't want to try it.
Second, if this did give me a good 200 combination in each now,
going forward I would again be storing in separate places and be
forced to do that double-import maybe weekly to keep things current.
What I had in mind, and what I used successfully a few years ago
is a program which, when run, presents the user with a
list of all current bookmarks and favorites, merged. Unfortunately I can't recall the name, or get back to it.
It's just a two-file merge:a simple concept. In days past I would just whip out some code to do the job. Guess that's a talent I don't have any more.
thanx, Chuck

You have no need for an application to do this ... you can do it directly.
To import your IE Favorites to Firefox, open Firefox, go to "File", and
click on "Import". You'll be guided by Firefox as to what to do next. To
import your Firefox Bookmarks to IE, do virtually the same thing. i.e. Open
IE and if you don't have the "Menu Bar" on the IE taskbar, right click on
the IE taskbar and click on "Menu Bar". When you do have the Menu Bar
available, click on "File", "Import and Export" and then follow the
instructions.

I am trying to find myself. If you see me before I do, please ask me to wait
until I return.

using winxp. sp2
ok, I use FireFox most often, but MSIE quite a bit, too.
I have lots of Favorites and lots of Bookmarks.
Difficult to know which one to look in sometimes.
Therefore, I would like a good inexpensive option to
combine the two. I recall years ago I had a program
that did a good job but I can't recall the name.
Anyone using something you recommend?
thanx, and Happy New Year, Chuck
