Speaking of Dave (I assume you are talking about Dave R), he told me via a
private email that he was having problems sending email to the group,
something about a problem pertaining to his email domain. Since I read
nothing from him on this problem, I assume he contacted you with a private
email. He's a good guy with a lot of knowledge and good sense. I hope the
problem gets fixed soon.

The problem is now gone as is NIS 2006.  Using your comment & my 
experience, it appears that the problem previously reported by Dave was 
caused by either NIS 2006, Spybot S&D, Windows Defender or some interaction 
between some subset of them.
