TSGL: Power with AGP or PCI-e

Hi all,
I'm looking at the possibilities for a new graphic card in my PC. The
limitation I have is the current PSU in the system which is only rated
as 250W. With all the HDs and peripherals I have, I need to find a card
which does not require more power the one that is already installed (ATI
9800).
According to http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=7&t=9354 I
still have several options. Of most interest right now is a GeForce
7600GS or 7600GT card.

These cards are available as both AGP and PCIe versions (my MB supports
only AGP). My question now is if anyone knows if AGP configuration
require more or less from the PSU? Or is the graphical bus irrelevant of
how much power the card will draw from the system?
