The quick, safe solution is to remove both versions of the program, and then
reinstall the version you want.
Tweak programs for the various Win 98 Operating Systems will (generally) not
work with the various Win NT Operating Systems (which includes 2000 and XP).
Programs for Win 98 had to be completely rewritten to work with the newer
machines, and many options for Win 98 were not included for the NT versions.
Don't try to run a Win 98 Tweak program on a Win XP machine. I doubt if you
would do any damage (I do not guarantee that), but it would probably be a
waste of time.

Subject: TSGL: TSQS:add/remove software; control panel
Hi all,
Win XP Pro Sp1.
I have two versions of a program under Add/remove and I need to get rid of
one of them. I also use Tweak for Powerusers which I thought I had an option
to do this. At least, when I was using Win 98SE, that Tweak program did
that.
However, I can't find it in this version of Tweak.
Anybody know where it is? Or will suggest another means to remove the
obsolete program name from the list?
Thanks,
Len
