I haven't tried Comodo yet but I have used ZoneAlarm Free for years 
without a problem.  I also periodically test ZA on the Shields Up 
website and it has always passed every test on both my desktop and 
laptop.  I may try Comodo on my laptop sometime just to see how it 
works.  Otherwise I have no complaints with ZA.
