TSGL: deleting from address bar

If I'm understanding what you're wanting to do then here are some instructions I found:

Clearing the address bar.
There is a way to remove typed URLs from the address bar. Bear in mind that it is quite advanced and gives the user the ability to really mess up their machine. Here's some brief instructions on how to do it:

 1. Go to start > run
 2. Type regedit
 3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > TypedURLs
 4. Remove the keys that you do not want to see on your address bar. Do not remove the (Default) key however.

PLEASE NOTE: It is very dangerous to delete entries from the system registry. If you are unsure on a particular entry, consult a computer geek. Modifying the registry can result in system failure, so do so only if you have detailed instructions, know how the registry works and how the programs use it, or if you don't really care if your system crashes.

Also, here's another for those using Firefox:

Highlight the one you want to delete with your mouse (but don't click on it) and then just press Shift-Delete. Tada!

The Address bar at the bottom is handy, but I don't like to use it because
I can't delete any item from it. Is there a secret way to do this, or just
not possible?
