TSGL: ac adaptor overheating

Linda,
It is an electrical problem, in the power supply. There is probably an
overload. Just do not use the computer. I can understand the power supply
getting hot, but do not understand about the port. Is this where the power
supply cable connects the laptop? In any case take it to a repairer. who
will have to replace the power supply and probably open up the laptop also.
But most important do not use the computer.
