TSGL: Computer beeps frequently

Problem solved.You are quite right. I had enabled some temperature and fan 
speed monitors in the BIOS and that is when it all started.  I have disabled 
them now and it has gone.
However, I notice that two of my hard disks are running hot. One is running 
at 56C.  Is this too hot? Should somethiung be done about this?
