TSGL: Computer and Printer not communicating

Have you tried using this printer with another computer? This 8 year old
printer may have some problems of its own (like old age).

To try, you probably will have to take a copy of the XP driver with you to
install on the test computer.

Subject: TSGL: Computer and Printer not communicating

I was out of town for a couple weeks and since returning I am unable to
print with my old 3-in-one HP OfficeJet T45 printer purchased in 1999. The
tray icon says "disconnected" and the set-up communication test fails. I
tried deleting and reinstalling the driver. It was previously downloaded
from the HP website because the old driver does not work since I switched
from Windows 98 to XP a few years ago. I also tried a different cable. The
printer is turned on and everything is plugged up properly. Any ideas?
