Thanks for the replies, I found my way to the Disable System Restore to find the box was already checked and disabled. I tried to enable just to see what would happen, re-booted and when I got back to System Restore it was again checked. Thinking I had done it wrong I tried enabling again, applying and re-booting but still it was disabled.
I have not tried Ian-RP method yet, I have it on AVG will it be the same.
virtumundobegone.exe will not work on ME.

I have had to get a computer with WinME as I have some software that will not work with XP. I used Avast to check for problems and found eight Trojan horses but after I had supposed to get rid of them I could run the check again to find the some ones every time. The situation is just the same using AVG, the same ones are found every time. If anyone gives me some advice it would be appreciated.
