TSGL: Lan IM clients

To all:

Is anyone out there using or can recommend an instant messaging system 
to be used ONLY on a local area network. I need something simple, free 
and that doesn't connect to the Internet. I need absolutely minimum 
features. Just something to replace a loud shout between 2 rooms when 
both folks are working on their computers simultaneously.
