TSGL: Daylight Savings Time moving up 3 weeks

Microsoft has the patch available at Windows and Microsoft Update. It has
been available, now, for several weeks. If, however, you are running an
unsupported OS or a machine that Microsoft believes to be a pirated
operating system, you may be out of luck, and your computer will run at the
wrong time.
A WORK AROUND SOLUTION would be to change the time zone on your computer.
If, for example, you live in the Pacific Time Zone, set it to the Mountain
Time Zone and you'll be set until whenever DST was set to begin under the
old system. At that time, go back to your actual time zone. Eastern to
Atlantic, Central to Eastern, Mountain to Central, Pacific to Mountain,
Alaska to Pacific, and Hawaii to Alaska.
Since I don't know if you folks living outside the US are affected by any
DST changes to the calendar, I won't make any recommendations, but, I'm
sure, you know what to do.
Frankly, I think we'd be better off if we went back to Standard Time 365/366
days a year and asked businesses, schools, and other operations that open
and close daily at a set time to open and close an hour earlier each day
during what was the Daylight Savings Time period.

until I return.

Subject: TSGL: Daylight Savings Time moving up 3 weeks
Does anyone have any ideas how the 3 week early start on Daylight Savings
Time will affect our computer systems.especially servers?
Is/has Microsoft sending out patches to adjust the settings in Windows so
that it knows that DST is changing, etc.?
