Does this mean that Don doesn't look after his computers very well that
has to continually restoring the Registry<G>
I'd have to be leading the most boring life of anyone 'cos I've never
had the excitement to having resort to restoring my registries.
Sometimes I'd like to get the registry in my head restored some times -
lots of times in fact :-(
*Sweetie Cher*, I think I may have got this one of Don's a few days ago
if not the same day. Maybe I read it in one of the later replies to
Don's or on the archives page but I have read it one way or another. I
think I really do need a registry restore so's I can remember better
where I've seen stuff. The older I get the smaller the memory cycles
get - bit like a battery sitting on the shelf for years <g>
In brief; I got your email earlier you sent at around 2 PM your time and
yes I was thinking of jumping into the cot at that time but when I read
that you were still in your jammies (spelling?) at that time I fell of
my chair as my mind boggled just to think you would rather be writing up
an email to me rather than you get about doing your own things first.
I'm truly honoured!! Do you have a web cam to take a snap for me for
next time you do that? No need to do your hair special or anything,
you'll be cool as you come... ;-)
I will go for a power nap right now though and get back to you later but
just to let you know I've read your emails today and will get back to
you where necessary later on. Will tell you then what I did with
Merna's message to Ed that's been stuck on the archives page for the
past two days. Hang it, I have not received that one that Merna must
have taken half a day to put together. I have seen it sitting there for
two days now. Just after I read you 'jammies' email and being so
excited <g> I figured that if I haven't received it yet that most
probably Ed hasn't either and maybe Merna hasn't either. Now if Merna
hasn't got her copy yet, the poor girl must be spitting chips over it
and wondering whether it was all a waste of time on her part 'cos it's
got stalled at TSGL. So I snitched a copy of it and direct sent it to
Ed saying I was re-sending it on Merna's behalf and hoped that it may
still be of some value to him after all this time.
A while after that I sent a message to Merna telling her what I'd done
and hoped it was alright by her. I could have emailed her first and
suggest that she re-sends her message again but this time just do it
direct to ED. But then I know Merna doesn't check for email all that
often (every other day or so) and figured there'd be more time wasted
doing it that way. Never mind that stuff, if you haven't yet received
Merna's message to Ed yet as you read this take a look at it on the web
site - it's towards the bottom and note how much stuff she put together
in it.. I congratulated her on such a fine effort with it and for going
to so much time to make it easily understandable. Me reckons the more
girls who come out of 'the closet' and stay out the better and they
should be encouraged to stick at it. Damn shame that TSGL is in such a
mess though - I'll continue my whinge about that another time as that
Cermak guy has got my temper up.
Time to take a quick nightmare ride around the block.
Keep smiling now... ~ John
